Next Meet:

Bank Farm

30th December to 2nd January

Bank Farm, Horton, Gower, Swansea, West Glamorgan., SA3 1LL

New Years Eve Meet at Bank Farm Gower.

This is our New Years meet with all the regular festivities, so no doubt we will have a good holiday with plenty going on, one you do not want to miss. Postcode SA3 1LL , map reference 159 / 465863; follow Y.B.S.B 159 / 142 for directions. However, for the part of your journey across Gower we would urge you to take the B4271, turning left to go over the hill (the Bryn) then take 1st left (sharp turn do not go through Reynoldston village), and back to the A4118 before reaching Port Eynon. This looks wrong on the map, but the alternative is some very narrow winding sections on the A4118, not very caravan friendly, DO NOT USE SAT NAVs when nearing the site.

There is shower and toilet facilities, and a short walk takes you to the main complex with the bar, restaurant, take-away, swimming pool, and games room. All of these facilities are available to campers at no extra charge. There is also a children’s playground, and a separate field for games and dog exercise. Bank Farm is located above Port Eynon bay and it is possible to walk to the beach from site, the local area forms part of Wales’ first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with unspoiled countryside, beaches galore and villages tucked away from main roads. All we need for a brilliant meet is the weather,

If you decide to join us at Bank Farm, you will need to know a few things, your own sanitation is recommended as this is a large site, there are no hard standings, electric hook ups (extra charge) are available.

The site will be open on at 10 a.m.

Also the committee members and stewards for all their hard work during the year especially at our bigger meets insuring you had a stress free holiday. Now 2016 season is upon us we have some new exciting sites along with old faithfuls. Lets hope we have good weather so you can all enjoy your stay with us.

The West Wales District Association is part of the Cambrian & Wyvern Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club. The areas covered by the Cambrian & Wyvern Region are West Wales, Dyfed, South Wales, Gwent, Gloucestershire and Worcester & Herefordshire.

The District Associations organise camping weekends and longer camping holidays, details of which may be found in the monthly "Out and About" publication as well as on this website.

If any member wishes to add any suggestions to our meets, which could be beneficial to us, they would be very welcome to put their ideas to me, "I'm always ready for a chat".
